Greta's Story
Life
I joined the AirForce in 1989, spent 1 year in school learning avionics on the F-111F aircraft in Denver and Clovis New Mexico. Then spent 2 years in England. Next I spent 2 1/2 years in Clovis, New Mexico,traveling to England and Las Vegas while I was there. In 1993 I married Ken in New Mexico. Then we were off to Okinawa, Japan in 1995 for 3 years to work on F-15 aircraft. During which I spent time in Alaska, Malaysia, Korea, and Australia. rking for the Dept.of Elder Services of FL. in an Adult Assisted/Extended Care Living Facility the Assistant Facility Operations Manager. On November 25, 2004 (Thanksgiving Day) we welcomed our son Jakob Richard into the world. After taking 3 months off I went back to work, and I am very lucky to be able to take Jakob with me everyday. As of April 1, 2006 I have been promoted to Resident Care Coordinator. Jakob started at the Child Development Center on Eglin AFB August 06, he has been doing great. I recently attended a course for becoming an Assisted Living Facility Manager.
